Work on frame volume has been one of the creative goals of the Öga collection since it was first conceived in 1997. The shapes produced are what define the very special masculine character of ÖGA.
The new concepts KÄLKE and COPENHAGEN embody the application of a sculptural process to material, while ensuring that nothing is done to compromise the lightness and comfort of the frame
The KÄLKE concept illustrates the marriage of titanium and grilamid. The titanium front is connected by a slim hinge to a temple made up of a grilamid core covered with a sheet of shaped
titanium. The parts connect and are aligned with enormous accuracy, providing a contemporary product with taut and minimalist shapes.
KÄLKE is available in two grilamid front versions and two semi-rimless versions.
Formed in 1995 by Mark Oliver Everett, the group Eels continues to be a free electron in the world of rock. Unclassifiable, Eels switches effortlessly from rock to jazz, always looking for new sounds.
Their latest album "End Times" is highly inventive.
